Meet the Band
Mike Berger
Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica & Percussion
Mike has been with the Rockbrokers from the beginning. He has been playing music since childhood and plays guitar, piano, mandolin, banjo and harmonica. A fixture on the New Jersey music scene, Mike has enthralled audiences over the years with: Fagin’s Boys (a dynamic acoustic trio), The Goon Squad (original rock band) and Steerhead (country rock with originals), among others.
In the latest iteration of The Rockbrokers, Mike reunites with original members Brian Egan, Joe Bocklet, and Kevin McColgan. Together, they continue to play music that not only resonates with their audiences but also contributes to meaningful causes, reflecting Mike's enduring commitment to both his craft and the community.
Joe Bocklet
Drums, Percussion
Joe is a founding member of the Rockbrokers and has been playing drums since childhood. He has rocked the beat for several bands over the years, including: Heywire, Speeno Rae, The Thirsty Band and Cellar Dwellars.
Brian Egan
Guitars, Vocals
Brian is a founding member of the Rockbrokers and has played all over New York City for decades. He was lead guitarist for Stryder, Hyjinx, Five Across, Brijo Brothers and the Allen Wrench Band. Brian has loved playing in dive bars, juke joints, private clubs and universities as well as larger venues in New York, Vienna, Munich and Frankfurt.
Munira Kingdollar
Vocals, percussion
Munira was lead vocalist for three bands before joining the Rockbrokers: RPM, Vision and Feedback. She has rocked a variety of venues in the Connecticut/ New York area including Molly Darcy’s, Brother Vic’s, NYC’s 79th Street Boat Basin and Yankee Stadium among others.
Kevin McColgan
Bass, Vocals
Kevin is a founding member of the Rockbrokers and has played in bands for almost half a century, including: The Rift, a popular band in Fairfield and Westchester counties as well as Steerhead, a country-rock band whose members included Rockbrokers Mike Berger and Tom Caterina. Kevin is happy to be back playing bass with the Rockbrokers.
Jeff Montville
Keyboards, Guitar & Vocals
Before joining the Rockbrokers, Jeff played guitar and keyboards for the Feedback band and handled bass guitar and vocals in three original bands: Manta Rays, The Get Set and Solid State. Jeff has played venues all over the New York and Connecticut circuit, including Molly Darcy’s, Toad’s Place and the Levitt Pavillion.
Says Jeff, “I’m really enjoying playing with the legendary Rockbrokers. Working with pros like them on some of the best classics is truly gratifying.”
